Atlantic Connection

My good friend and label mate Atlantic Connection is starting 2012 off with a new single on Deceast, some free music giveaways and a few emerging details about his upcoming album. In his own words:

One of the reasons I enjoy living in LA so much is the constant growth of electronic music. A good friend of mine Deco (some of you may know of him from his Atlanta days) started up a label last year called Deceast Records, focusing on futuristic bass music. Early last year I was really starting to experiment with different tempo’s and styles and I’m proud to say Deceast was the first label to embrace my new vibes; we did a well-received garage-ish single “Take My Number / No Explanations”. Coming back around to now is a follow up single with dubstep artist NumberNin6 backed by my track “Set Me Free.”

In addition to his upcoming single, A.C. just released his bootleg of The Weeknd’s “The Morning” which you can check out below.

Lastly, Atlantic Connection tells me that all of the demos for his next album are finished and that he’s currently meeting with labels to find an appropriate outlet for the LP. So far, it contains 15 songs in a variety of genres and features a number of guests — scarce info for now I’m afraid, but I’m sure more disclosures will be coming soon. There is currently no release date.
